I'm on a roll with my expert interviews teleseminars. I invite experts in various fields that are related to may main mission of better breathing and better sleep, and host live one hour interviews, where participants call in and listen in. They can submit questions when they register (they also get the call-in number and PIN code), or ask their questions live at the end of the program. It's also recorded so that registrants can get a link to an mp3 file afterwards.
I promote it to my list of about 1500, and the expert promotes to their own list. I also post the information on various forums, blogs, and social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. The expert promotes his or her own products or services, and I get great content that I can repurpose into other formats. I'm in the process of placing all my teleseminars on my webpage for people to access for free, but only after they opt into my list.
Last night I interviewed a yoga instructor on how to breathe better to de-stress. Last month, I spoke with an insomnia expert on good sleep habits. Next month, I'm interviewing a Hopkins neurologist who's an expert on migraines, and also an author (Heal Your Headache, by David Buchholz). I'm in the works in bringing on a celebrity sleep doctor who treats other celebrities.
My number of registrants is slowly increasing, and I'm finding out what my audience wants through the questions.

Teleseminars
Great work Dr. Park !!
I'm interested in producing a teleseminar with a friend of mine who is a well known leader in the Martial Arts world, as well as a published author.
I would be very greatful if you would forward the details on how you produce your seminars.
Respectfully,
Brian Ganin
teleseminars
There are a few great resources that I used. One is by Kathleen gage at http://www.streetsmartsmarketing.com/teleseminarreport.htm.
Alex Mandossian is another http://www.teleseminarsecrets.com/previewcall
Another one is Adam Urbanski at http://www.themarketingmentors.com
Here are the steps in a nutshell:
1. Pick a topic or content that your target audience is interested in or has told you they want to hear more about.
2. Either create your own content or invite an expert on the subject and interview him or her. Set a date and time.
3. Set up a free teleseminar account with Freeconferencecall.com
4. Set up an email autoresponder account like aweber or 1shoppingcart
5. Set up a one page announcement with a unique domain name or on your site. Add HTML from from autoresponder to capture name and email address when they sign up. This is how you capture names and email addresses. It should be a double opt-in. One past one that I did is here: http://tinyurl.com/8gcou6.
6. Make the announcement and invitation to your list, press releases (free and paid), social media sites (Redroom, Facebook, Twitter, etc.), and any other place that you can think of. Be creative. Ask others with lists to help you out.
7. Do teleseminar. You can talk, or ask guest expert a list of questions (better if he or she provides the questions). For one past example, go to http://www.doctorstevenpark.com and click on the first podcast to listen (the one about breastfeeding).
8. You must have the guest provide a free report or bonus at the end by giving out a web address or an email address to entice people to ask for this free product. These are the people that are interested and have raised their hands even further. Once you captured their attention, you can upsell your higher priced products or services.
9. Don't worry about the number of callers in the beginning. What you're doing is that by recording it (freeconferencecall.com has it built-in), you take the mp3 and distribute it to your market, or you can put it on a CD or even transcribe it. By repurposing the content, you're leveraging the one hour you spent, and have just created three different information products. You can also split up the content and put it on a Podcast, video, upload of Youtube...the possibilities are endless. Once you get the hang of it, your list (and your exposure) will grow.
10. You my be asking, sounds like a lot of work, but how can I make money? There are many formats that you can take. There's no right or wrong way. You'll have to test different options. One approach that I take is modeled after Adam Urbanski. The teleseminar is free to anyone that signs up. Once the event is over, there will be a nominal charge to download the mp3, and slightly more to buy the CD and transcript. Having other information products (books) on your website will help as well.
