I am happily married to Amanda Gripp, who teaches High School with me in Austin. She teaches regular Freshman English. We are about to have a son, come March.

I am a pure example of the last bastion of a decent writer beginning from square one. I live out in Austin, TX and, while teaching Creative Wrting and AP Literature, my time has been mainly focused on nourishing a beautifiul family.
