          Alyssa
 
Alyssa died in her bedroom,
Alyssa was hit with a broom,
The marks and welts that it made,
The coroner said it was a bluish shade,
 
Her Mother was out of control,
Was on drugs and for them she stole,
Meth and Alcohol do not mix,
Always trying to find a fix,
 
Alyssa died cause no one cared,
She was afraid her story to share,
Praying to God that it would get better,
No one read her pleading letter,
 
Alyssa died at home all alone,
Alyssa died with fractured bones,
God there is no excuse,
For children to die of child abuse.
