Humane doesn't mean what it connotes.
Or is it that humans don't?
You may indeed have stumbled onto a paradox...or a pandora box. As humans on the average become more degenerate, it might become a compliment to be called inhumane. Then we will have to begin studying the inhumanities in the Universities.
You've made me think.....don't you just hate it when that happens?
Inhumane - maybe...
A friend of mine has a theory on why presumably perfectly normal people become subhuman when they get in large groups...e.g., gladiatorial contests, professional wrestling, football spectators. He calls it the principle of "Conservation of I.Q." Assuming an average person has an I.Q. of 100 (a scary thought in itself), if you put 100 such people in a large crowd, the individual I.Q. goes to 1.
Explains a lot!
