where the writers are

Robocall sounds to me like a Paul Verhoeven movie. But according to CNN  (http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/23/robo.calls/index.html) , voters in so-called battleground states are being flooded with computerized political ads. If you are so located (I'm not), you might be interested in  http://www.stoppoliticalcalls.org/ , where you can register your discontent. I don't know if it works (seems vaguely unconstitutional if that means anything anymore) , but you might feel better. Or if you have dialup, at least it will tie up your phone line.

When they have stoppoliticaltvads.org, I'm definitely signing up.
