Stacia M. Fleegal is the author of two full-length collections of poetry, Versus (BlazeVOX, 2011) and Anatomy of a Shape-Shifter (WordTech, 2010), and two chapbooks of poetry, The Lines Are Not My Friends (second place, 2009 Cervena Barva Press chapbook contest) and A Fling with the Ground (Finishing Line Press, 2007). She is a 2009 and 2010 Pushcart Prize nominee, co-founder and managing editor of the online journal Blood Lotus, and co-founder of the all-poetry Imaginary Friend Press. She also does editorial and digital media work for the Los Angeles Review, and works as digital projects technician at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI.

In 2010, she was nominated for a Pushcart Prize by decomP. In 2009, she was nominated for a Pushcart Prize and placed second in the Cervena Barva Press Poetry Chapbook Contest. In 2006, her poetry won first place in the graduate division of the Kentuckiana Metroversity Writing Competition and placed as a special merit finalist in Comstock Review's Muriel Craft Bailey Memorial Award in Poetry contest.
