We're in March already and this is a month to celebrate women. March is the time of the year declared officially as Women's History Month. I'm sure we all know a woman or women who deserve to be honored or recognized in some way, so why not use this month to give them kudos. Or if it's a historical woman, make sure you spend a little time reflecting on her accomplishment/s. When you consider how many women through history have made some sort of breakthrough or accomplishment, it's quite staggering really. There have been feminists fighting for equality, women pilots, soldiers, writers, speakers, politicians and let's not forget single mothers who raise their children and sacrifice for the love of their family.

I just watched an incredible movie based on a true story from 1986 Iran. It's called The Stoning of Soraya M, and it's a truly eye-opening and disturbing movie. Please look for it on Netflix or any other rental venue. It's worth watching and thinking about.
