The Clean Slate Accord by Sofia Diana Gabel

E-books are interesting. Within a couple of days, my new e-book novella, The Clean Slate Accord, has been released on a number of sites, including Scribd.com, Omnilit.com, Apple and of course the publishers store, http://store.untreedreads.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=68_7_49_51&products_id=184

Some sites, I've noticed, have a tally on the book's site saying how many 'reads' there have been, while others apparently don't announce this. I like knowing how many people are reading the story, because generally the author doesn't know anything until the publisher sends out a royalty check. The price of the novella is only $2.99, which means it's far easier, especially in this economy, for people to download it for pocket change. I really like that. This is my first science fiction story published, so I'm really excited to see how it's received. It was fun writing it, so I hope people find it equally fun to read!
