I was born in Melbourne, Australia. Parts of my childhood was spent in Victoria and South Australia as my parents moved from church to church as ministers in The Salvation Army.
I attended various schools: Colonel Light Gardens, Golden Square, Murray Bridge, Alberton Primary, Adelaide Girls High, and completed her secondary schooling at Unley High School.
I graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Music, majoring in composition and piano. Later she obtained her Graduate Diploma of Education through the University of New England in Armidale, New South Wales. Further post-graduate studies followed with a Master of Education in Curriculum Development and Online Teaching with the University of Southern Queensland. A couple of years laterI achieved a Master of Education in Teacher Librarianship through Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga, Victoria. Further to her studies she obtained a Bachelor of Education in Religious Studies and finally a Master of Arts; Creative Writing with Swinburne University.
After completing my Masters in Education, Teacher Librarianship I became very interested in teenage realistic fiction and bibliotherapy. Having taught K - 12 students for a number of years I am very aware of teenage concerns in today's world.
In the books Talk to Me I have written about four grails creating a blog and through their daily lives and the blog they are confronted with issues: eating disorders self mutilation cyberbullying divorced parents school pressures I am writing a trilogy of my life: Conversations With Teddy - my childhood memoirs Whisperings - my marriage years Finding my voice - life after divorce I have started writing a series of Children's books - Teddy and Sweet Pea I have a number of Christian books:
Crossroads reveals the inner turmoil of divorce and the need for survival. Issues of a Christian marriage disintegrating and change of career dominate which path to travel.

God’s Grapes is a personal journey through dark times. God reaches down and hold the grapes so tenderly and yet the need for maturing into wine is carefully orchestrated by God. Grapes hang in a cluster in the shape of the heart, God’s heart.
