  • Okay, I'm a total sucker for "Alien". Or well, for the first two films in the series anyway. (In my world, Alien films three through # whatever don't exist.) Ridley Scott's "Prometheus" is presumably a prequel to the Alien saga, so naturally, I'm in! Uh... Except to the extent that I'm out, i.e. where the NYT article about the film wanders off into the whole "Chariots of Fire" (God/the gods are just aliens) farce. If that "theory" is prominent in the "Prometheus" plot, I may want to rip out someone's liver for wrecking a promising film. Due out June 8.
