One-Liners to Live By is a dream taken away and brought back as something far more beautiful. When I wrote Sober on the Way to Sane I intended for the pages to be cut so that the suggestions could be flipped through and chosen at random; fortune cookie style. Instead of this impractical format what I have had the opportunity to produce is a book of whimsy and art. The readers of Sober on the Way to Sane, whether in book format or from the email list often report to me that they look forward to the suggestions at the bottom of the page sometimes reading them first then returning to the larger message, this book is for you, my readers. Thank you for your support!
Sherrie gives an overview of the book:
56 Advocate for the sweetness inside you 57 Be polite to your dreams 58 Tickle your age and laugh with it 59 Do what you can and try the rest 60 Allow yourself private joy and public sorrow then reverse it 61 Don’t force joy to simmer let it boil over 62 Remember the minutes; they belong to you 63 New is neutral, not better or worse 64 Write a collage 65 Write an advertisement for your best quality 66 Memorize an affirmation for a pet
