A Community In My Office
Blog Post by Shelley R Frost - Jan.11.2008 - 8:43 pm
When you work from home, and your officemate is a two year old border collie with a penchant for all-day naps, life can be pretty quiet. Reading about Redroom in the San Francisco Chronicle gave me hope that there is a community out there for us house-bound writers. Now that I've been accepted into the Author's list at Redroom, I feel that I am truly a part of something special. Congratulations to Ivory Madison for creating this website, bringing together authors, readers, and most importantly BOOKS!

Hey, thanks!
Shelley,
I'm so glad you saw the article, and really glad to have you on redroom.com. We're going to have new features rolled out soon that should help you connect more with other writers (who are house-bound), and with your readers. And dogs. As the New Yorker cartoon so famously put it, "On the internet, no one knows you're a dog."
