I purchased the “Brazilian Butt Lift” workout from Beach Body. My derriere isn’t big – though it could use a workout. I’m actually more interested in the overall workout which includes the abs, upper body, and legs.
I won’t be seeing my husband until May. Supposedly there is a transformation in 60 days. By the time I see him I will be 68 – not sure what can transform at that age, but it’s got to be better than it is now.
Before and After pics? Not a chance…at least not for anyone to see. I think I can determine improvement by just measuring.
My inspiration is not the 40-somethings or 30-somethings that grace the video. My inspiration is Helen Mirren…in a bikini. If she can look good at 60 – perhaps there’s hope for me.
It’s a tough workout. Intense, and is done daily. Oy, what have I gotten myself into. The Beach Body people have a motto is Decide, Commit, Succeed. So far – I’ve got the first one done. The first word - not the video. (^_^)

Keep us posted Sharon! I have a feeling you will succeed!!! mx
Thank you, Mary
I read about several women who began a serious "body building" program in their 60's and succeeded...so we shall see.
I'm really interested in the health aspect of the program as well.
So good to see you!

Ha Ha! Sometimes I think I weight lift the laundry basket out to the clothes line and my arms are toned from heaving trays of bread in and out of the oven at work, oh and there is the pushing of the grocery cart around the store and that weeding in the garden keeps the waist line in shape oh BUTT your way sounds like a lot more fun!!!
Not sure about the fun part...
BUTT - I am determined to add more strength and build some muscle. I just saw a photo of a lady who is 71 - and a body builder. She didn't start until she was 62. If she can do that...I should at least be able to do something.
Cheers!

Brazilian carnivale type...but oh my word - what a workout. I haven't made it through the whole 30 minutes yet - I'm good for about 15 and that's pushing it.
