Schmaltzy, the world famous piano playing cat has a new website and he is requesting that his fans send a photo of their pets.

This month, Discovery Channel will feature Schmaltzy on their website. We will post the link on his website as soon as it becomes available.

The most exciting news of all is that as of last week, Schmaltzy's award winning children's book is available on Barnes and Noble and Amazon. The book has "Triple Parenting Power." It does more than get kids reading, it gets kids writing and practicing their music lessons, just like Schmaltzy. The book is entitled "SCHMALTZY, In America, Even a Cat Can Have a Dream."

Every chapter begins with new color-coded vocabulary words. The book has 4-color photographs and illustrations. Children prefer real animals over stuffed animals and true stories over make believe stories.

Animal fair Magazine called him “A Feline Prodigy” and said that “Schmaltzy May Just be the Most Famous Cat in the World." The New York Post said that, “He was a Celebrity in His Own Right.” and he won their “Most Eligible Pet Contest of 2008." He is always the stand-alone cat in a group of top dogs.

Schmaltzy uses his celebrity clout to help homeless cats find loving homes. He is able to steal the spotlight away from store bought kittens and steer pet owners in the direction of an animal rescue shelter.
