A typical California girl marries an Iranian student in the l960's.  Her dream of living as a Persian Princess turns into a nightmare when she finds herself trapped in Tehran. She finds faith in Christ and the courage to escape, but must leave her two young sons behind.  Exiled in Israel, she finds a home and love among a community of Messianic Jews. She returns to the USA in 1989 and earns a BA in English from Arizona State University. Her first published book is a work of creative non-fiction, Daughter of Jerusalem.  Now she is working on the last book in a trilogy based on the second coming of the Muslim messiah, Imam Mahdi.  The Samson Option is in print and available today.  The Time of Jacob's Troubles will be released soon.  The final book in the series will be released in 2009.

Influences

Salman's Rushdie's Midnight Children, Paul Scott's Indian Raj series, and all of John La Carre's novels have influenced my writing. The writer I aspire to emulate is Agatha Christie, not only because she was a prolific writer, but also because she married an archeologist, as have I.

Upcoming Works

The second book in the Samson trilogy, The Time of Jacob's Troubles, will be published soon. I am working on the third book in the series, The Return of the Mahdi and hope to finish by 2010.
