This is a subject that really intrigues me as a person, teacher, and author. I am never less than astonished to find that most people think of happiness as an external factor in their lives because they can’t get their inner beings to function on a realistic plane. When people ask me about “happiness,” I always ask them as a retort, “about what?” Happiness is a mental attitude that is quite misunderstood because of the error in thinking in terms of what other people have and experience. Simple enough though — stop thinking about what happiness is and decide that you are “happy” without the rhyme or reason associated with the idiocy of wondering if you are qualified to experience it. To be happy, accept the fact that it is a natural state of being and that you are, therefore, happy without the need to cogitate on negative sentiment or manipulative grace. Have a nice day!
