I'm grateful for my father and mother who gave me life. Raising a child during the Killing Fields can't be easy. We lived in constant fear, hunger, and hopelessness. In spite of it all, they found a way to find food for me and protected me from being recruited as a child soldier. They took life threatening risks to find freedom and prosperity for the family.
I'm grateful that we have found a home in the United States of America where we enjoy our freedom, dreams, and law and order.
Lastly, I'm thankful and blessed for having such a good family and friends!
