Sam Cacas, a native of Washington, D.C., is a San Francisco-based writer who launched his first literary work, "BlAsian Exchanges, a Novel" (more info here and here.) on December 30, 2007. He recently accepted an invitation to write a monthly column on Black-Asian Unity for Asianweek.com. Previously, he has written articles about hate violence, hate speech, immigration policy, multicultural marketing, the International Criminal Court, Black Romance fiction, and interracial dating and interracial attraction. His byline has appeared in imdiversity.com, Human Rights, American Demographics, Advertising Age, Today's Black Woman, Interrace, Asian Week, Toward Freedom, The Advocate, San Francisco Bay Guardian, Oakland Post, Oakland Tribune, epinions.com, Oakland Tribune, Pacific News Service, and the Bay Area Reporter. He is co-moderator of PowerCouples_AMBW (Asian Men Black Women) Yahoo! discussion group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PowerCouples_AMBW/) and is a member of the National Writers Union and Asian American Journalists Association.
