So this virtual son of mine, Keaton D. Barry, is really taking on a life of his own. In her blog my fiancée Kathi Kamen Goldmark is worrying about him breaking the furniture—which would be a sign that he takes after your side of the family, Kathi. Rosy Cole said “Perhaps we should send you some earplugs after all then.” What does that mean, I wonder? And Steve Silver is sending me a virtual cigar. Thanks, Steve. Melissa Mytinger thinks it’s time for a party for Keaton, William DeLotto says “an annuity would be fine,” and Shirley Scritchfield says Keaton “sounds like trouble.” Or maybe she meant I sound like trouble.
Steve Silver also suggested we have a contest to determine what the “D” stands for in Keaton D. Barry. Our Secretary of State once noted that it takes a village to raise a child, so I suppose it takes a blog to raise a virtual child. What do you all think?
