It's a difficult task to choose your best photo. Images you would toss in a bin, others rave about, and sometimes vice versa. I shot "Sunken Garden" on a whim, purely because I liked the colour of the water. Shot early in the morning in the North Cascades, it was a shot that could have been easily missed. I'd spent the night on the mountion in winter, at the end of the closed state highway. It was a mild -4C inside my motorhome when I awoke to a beautiful sunny morning, perfect for photos as I made my way back down the mountain.
