Hearts and Minds got me in the habit of bed-reading again - something I haven’t done for years. For thirty minutes each night I snuggled up and read the perfect cosy book. I loved being in the world of Hearts and Minds - it reminded me very much of a Victorian novel in its attention to detail and the rich atmosphere. It was like a modern Gaskell or Dickens.
