Rosemary Jones's Biography

A member of the Science Fiction Writers of America, I forged my fictional writing career out of the fire of dragons and the steel of dungeons. Since then, I've added rocket ships, robot dogs, superhero hackers, and more to the stone soup of the stories.

Recent publications include the steampunk librarian YA superhero novella "Wrecker of Engines" available in Cobalt City Rookies.

Two of my Wizards of the Coast's novels were reprinted as ebooks: City of the Dead and Crypt of the Moaning Diamond. Other Forgotten Realms adventures include short stories in Realms of the Dead and Realms of Dragons II as well as the serial adventure Cold Steel & Secrets. You can find them all at a variety of online bookselling sites or by checking your local library in the US.

City of the Dead explores the enormous graveyard of Waterdeep, as one young lady Sophraea Carver struggles to keep her family safe from the walking dead, not be distracted by a rather cute wizard, and decide what she wants to do next with her life (if she survives one snowy night amid the tombstones).  Watch out for the shrubbery and keep an eye open for ghosts!

Crypt is a romp through an underground adventure with all the things that I loved playing in AD&D campaigns: kobolds, trap doors, weird magical treasures of dubious use, and lots of fireballs.Follow Ivy and her scruffy gang as they struggle to stay alive, keep the little white dog out of trouble, and save the guy in ridiculously shiny armor.

Cold Steel & Secrets follows a rogue as he spies on the rebels of Neverwinter. There's a missing crown to be found, a villain's plot to uncover, and a redhead distraction who is deadly with a sword.
