Rosalyn Story is a violinist with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, as well as a writer of magazine and journal articles about the arts, and of books, both fiction and non-fiction. Her articles have appeared in Essence, The Washington Post, Stagebill (Lincoln Center), and Opera News. Her books include a history of African American opera singers titled And So I Sing: African American Divas of Opera and Concert, a novel of jazz titled More Than You Know, and a new novel titled "Wading Home: a novel of New Orleans," set in Louisiana and New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
