Part The First:
(Woo-Hoo for me!)
I just got word that one of my poems, “Fly Away Home” (another one of my love poems written for My Beloved Sandra) will be published at Poetry Breakfast this Wednesday.Poetry Breakfast publishes consistently fine work on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and gives us interesting videos, reviews, interviews, etc on the other days–all neatly printed under an appetizing giant cup of coffee. Always good reading, I highly recommend bookmarking POETRY BREAKFAST.
Don’t worry, though; I’ll try to come back on Wednesday morning to remind you to truck on over and read my semi-comic love manifesto.
Part The Second:
(Apparently, I’m On A Roll…)
I got word tonight that my poem “Tutor“ has been accepted and will be appearing in the upcoming issue of A Clean, Well-Lighted Place, a really fine journal I’ve enjoyed reading since they started publishing. Admittedly, the next issue is only #4, but their inaugural issue was fine, and they have continued to improve with each successive issue. As before, the issue will appear online at first, followed by a print version later.
I will, of course, keep you posted about when these become available for your edification. Meanwhile, do yourself a favor and head on over to read Issue #3 and samples from previous issues. You won’t regret it.
