This video is a preview of It was never about a hot dog and a Coke, released in January, 2008, and subtitled “A Personal Account of the 1960 Sit-in Demonstrations in Jacksonville, Florida and Ax Handle Saturday”. Those demonstrations culminated in the now infamous “Ax Handle Saturday” when 200 white males with ax handles and baseball bats, attacked 35 members of the Jacksonville Youth Council NAACP, in downtown Jacksonville.
