I reside in a haven of solitude in the Cote d'Or  of Burgundy,  an area renowned for some of the best red wines in the world.  Originally from England,  I herald from the south west corner of that mist enshrouded isle steeped in ancient history.  Secondary education of five years at boarding school spawned an ambition to become a writer of science fiction and horror stories. However, responsibility to a wife and son, and a career in electronic design subverted the dream until divorce in 2003 re-ignited the creative urge.

I write short stories and novels. I don't adhere to any particular genre, although much of my writing depicts elements of the paranormal as it has been part of my life since... well... as long as I remember. I try to add a sense of horror to stories by introducing aspects of the supernatural.

I write a little poetry, usually on dark subjects, but never consider myself to be a poet. I liken it to weaving colourful patterns with words on a form, which hopefully depict an image to the reader like a tapestry.

So, welcome to my world of cold dark shadows, where angels tremble in fear of dreams, and where nocturnal hunters prowl the nightmare realms, their steel tipped claws shredding the naked flesh of innocence.

Influences

Much of my earlier work was influenced by experiments with past life regression.
