I thoroughly enjoy thunderstorms. There is something cleansing in the smell of rain in the air. There is a feeling of being alive when you feel the energy change in the atmosphere. But even more amazing is that the louder thunder is, the more I relax. Maybe it's the pent up emotions that wreak havoc during the day; but give me a good loud thunderstorm at night and it's more effective in calming me than a day at the spa. Could it be that no one can tell a storm to be quiet or could it be the unbridled fury that fascinates me?
Maybe it's both.
For most of us, we don't go around screaming at the top of our lungs in anger or run around knocking things over in frustration without someone possibly thinking we're a little off. But if a storm blows through, howling in the night, toppling buildings, and creating chaos-well, it's nature, it happens.
What would happen if every now and then, we were to just let loose like a thunderstorm and no one think twice about it? And just explain it away as..it's nature..it happens..
