She finally died on me. Just as I was salivating on my sticky bun that needed to get zapped a few seconds, her last 3 seconds was not time enough to melt the sticky stuff in my bun.
She shut down just like turning off a light switch and stayed silent and dead. I tried to revive her by unplugging the outlet and blowing air into it like a plug needs oxygen but of course the attempt was futile.
I stared at her for a bit, bidding my farewell and murmuring “I need you” but like any other appliance, when they die there’s no reviving them unless I call a Mr. Fix It guy.
The frugal in my wants to fix her but she’s very old and bulky so I think I’m just going to toss her into the recycle bin and find a new and more compact baby.
For a moment I contemplated on not finding a replacement but I don’t have the time right now to be steaming or baking in the kitchen.
Crisis Line counseling seminar has started and I am back to school. Behavioral Psychology 101 requires study time and reading time.
Lots of new things happening in my life and I am very excited to wake up every morning. My mind spins with endless possibilities.
I actually have not had time for a good beer!
