On Saturday, January 12 from 3:30pm-5:30pm, Richie Unterberger will present a program of rare soul music film clips from the 1960s and early 1970s at the Potrero Branch of the San Francisco Library at 1616 20th Street. Included will be footage of soul greats such as Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, the Supremes, Otis Redding, Booker T. & the MG's, Nina Simone, Ike & Tina Turner, Sam & Dave, Marvin Gaye, Isaac Hayes, Sly & the Family Stone, and others. Admission is free.
