Favorite Character Name

Silas Wegg, the one-legged ballad-seller-cum-blackmailer in  Dickens' Our Mutual Friend. There's just something about the way Dickens uses his name, especially during Weggs' loopy, semi-literate, semi-lunatic monologues, that always turns me hysterical. What can you say about a guy whose overriding passion in life is to gain respectability by buying his missing leg back? I love the character and I love the name.
