In a stunning development, former Alaska governor-turned reality-TV star Sarah Palin has been admitted to Mensa—the society founded in 1946 for persons with IQs “within the upper two percent of the general population.”
Many of the some 11,000 Mensans worldwide are baffled.
"This is a tectonic shift in the intellectual landscape," says Edmund Fauge-Pacquer, the George Sanders Professor of Hermeneutics at Oxford and author of the landmark Occam’s Urologist. “The woman is an imbecile.”
"She wouldn't know Heidegger from a halibut," adds Hannah Putzim chairperson of the department of Cloacan Feminist Philosophy at Brandeis University.
