Richard S. Ehrlich has reported news from Asia since 1978 from bases in Hong Kong, New Delhi, and now Bangkok, Thailand, where he is a special correspondent for the Washington Times and international media.

His coverage has focused on wars in Afghanistan, India, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia, as well as Asia's rituals, revolutions, cultures, coups, religions and other news.

He is also co-author of a nonfiction book of investigative journalism, titled: "Hello My Big Big Honey!" Love Letters to Bangkok Bar Girls and Their Revealing Interviews.

This book was published in San Francisco, hailed by Time magazine and other reviewers, and was exhibited in London's Tate Gallery museum.

Translations of this book include editions in French, Italian and German.

Richard S. Ehrlich is from San Francisco, and received a Master's degree cum laude from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, and won their Foreign Correspondents Award.
