Former Correctional Officer, Sgt, Lt, Captain and Administrative Assistant and Public Information Officer at five prisons. Well versed in prison life from an employee and manager perspective. Left corporate work to become a writer and entreprenuer. I miss the regular pay and fine benefits but not the confines. Former teen parent. Living my dream of writing and touching lives. Happy to be alive!
I am a walking billboard of incredibly hard lessons learned, and wonderful resilence, as well as a recipient of mountains of blessings.
The first half of my life was dedicated to raising children. The second half belongs mostly to me! I aspire to earn a living from writing, to make a difference in the lives of others through my work and to leave a legacy of good soundbites and tidbits. I look forward to meeting other Authors, hearing their stories and reading their work. I am work in progress.
