The novel is an artfully crafted story of love, bereavement and growth. The heroine, Faye, in her devotion to Daniel, her late husband, and his bees, rescues the bees and in doing so saves herself. She travels on a journey of grief where she finds her way as an individual. Her healing gradually takes place as she understands that while her husband's path was the bees, her path is a passageway of her own making. Well done. ”
