My new book, 'Santa Fe Dreamhouse: Ten Years in the Land of Enchantment' took six months to write- well, these stories were kicking around for years- but will take just as long to get into print with iUniverse.
Still, I could die of old age waiting for an agent or a bricks and mortar house to notice the book. Here's my strategy: get the book out to book clubs, talk it up at book fairs and libraries, sell it at the back of the room and hope I can A) cover my costs, about $2K and B) attract the attention of an agent who can sell the entire book or parts thereof to the movie industry.
Love to hear from all the sucess stories out there.
