telltale signs, jaded words and deeds
me- spending time and energy nurturing
you- who cannot be cared for
or
give a care
seasons of laboring
it is time,
I feel it coming
only to pack my bags
to yet another false alarm
then lulled once again
by the acquiescent lullaby
that I let rock me unconscious
