I've been writing and publishing my poetry since 2007 and have four books: All That Gorgeous, Pitiless Song (Many Mountains Moving 2010); God, Seed (Tebot Bach 2010); Mom's Canoe (Texas Review Press 2009); and Dark Card (TRP 2008). A fifth book, recently shortlisted for the Kathryn A. Morton Award, contains sonnets insprired by the Seven Deadly Sins on the cocktail circuit in Marin County. Since 2007, about three hundred of my poems have appeared in 175 venues including The Hudson Review, The Humanist, JAMA, Sewanee Review, Tikkun Daily, Notre Dame Review, and Women's Review of Books. I also write poetry reviews, found in American Book Review, Calyx, Prairie Schooner and other journals. Essays and short stories are a new interest, with work in the Summer 2012 issue of Chautauqua Journal.
