Sunday, will you stay a little longer?

slow like a snail
nibbling on a leaf.

Last Night
As we crawled into bed last night, well past midnight, I congratulated My Beloved Sandra on her safe return from our Caribbean cruise, and assured her that I was due to arrive sometime around Wednesday, maybe.
You always make me laugh,
You always make me laugh, Ron! Your cruise must have been wonderful.
p.s. Congrats on the publication of your poem!
This is succulent Rebb!

Succulent: I love the word,
Succulent: I love the word, Mary. I could gobble it up. Thank you for taking a nibble!
You captured my sentiment, Rebbecca!
Cheers
Hope you had a good Monday,
Hope you had a good Monday, Michael. I once almost worked for a man that loved Monday's. He somehow was able to look at Monday's as a way to plan the whole workweek out and he looked forward to the process. That was exciting for him. I am not able to see it his way. He must have loved his job more than most!
Rebbecca, I always struggle
Rebbecca,
I always struggle with Sundays knowing that the work week is looming. I have to consciously remind myself to live in the moment and leave Monday to the future.
Most of the time it works,

Annette, Even though I too
Annette, Even though I too struggle with Sunday, I am always glad to get through Monday and often look forward to Tuesday. Monday's are a good challenge to living in the moment.
Uh-oh!
Monday comes and the first thing I realize is--you haven't even started the piece you're going to present at the writers' group on Wednesday!
That's where I was again, just a few hours ago. OK, so I got a skeleton put together of what I'll say, but it won't be elegant. Next week I'll try to do better--that is, if there are no parties over the weekend, and no extended shopping trips, or surprise visits from out-of-town friends, or weather so glorious it would be a shame to stay indoors, or . . .
I hope you were able to
I hope you were able to finish you piece, Dolores. Tomorrow is the big day! Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed your musings. Something tells me what you present will be quite elegant.
thanks
Thanks for your confidence in me. The piece is about the moment that changed my life. I mean exactly that. I'm writing it for my Chaucer blog. After I read it --and get input--at the writers group, I'll post it.
I may decide to post it here at Red Room, too.
That would be great if you do
That would be great if you do decide to post it here at Red Room, Dolores.
Have a great day!
thanks

Without your prompting, I might not have put the Chaucer entry on RedRoom. Then I wouldn't have had the thrill of seeing it as chosen.
Thanks :)
Wonderful, Dolores! I’m so
Wonderful, Dolores! I’m so glad that you did post it here. It was a joy to read, and I bet your presentation was full of energy and passion. I look forward to seeing more posts from you in the future!
You are welcome, and thank you for sharing.
