"So what do you think I should do?" said the Sky to the Earth.
"Well, we've always supported each other in the past....no sense in stopping now."
"Okay," said the sky, "but how will I know when is too much?"
"Does it matter?" inquired the Earth
"Well, that's not a very good attitude. I mean, there are a lot of people down there that may get hurt." The Sky seemed disturbed that the earth could be so unfeeling.
"Oh really? And when was the last time "they" cared about "us"?
"Well I see your point, Earth, but two wrongs don't make a right."
"Look, Sky, I don't want this to turn into an argument. If that happens, then you'll have to go your way, and I'll go mine. I'd much rather we worked together to get everything cleaned up. Don't you think we make a good team?"
"Well of course I do."
Meanwhile, two men were walking through the mountains and they stopped to make a camp-fire.
"Watcha using there John?" Tom asked inquisitevely.
"Oh I'm just dumping some oil on this wood here to get it going better."
"Well, John, ya know...if you do that you are polluting the ground and the sky."
"Who cares? It's not like anyone can see us."
The sky had been listening in on their conversation. She changed her tune completely.
"Hey Earth....you ready to rumble?"
"Thought you'd never ask!"
A darkness fell over the earth. Earthquakes, volcanoes, mudslides..........lightening, hurricanes, typhoons, tornadoes,.......it was time to clean house.
Just then there was a voice out of the deep "gray" ocean. "Hey Earth....Hey Sky.....mind if I play?"
