Once upon a time, there lived an average man who lived an average life. He lived with other average people within an average community. Then, one day this average man encountered a not so average situation. This average man had to make a quick decision and needed to commit to an instant action. The average man accomplished his goal, and he did it selflessly, without any worry to consequence or personal loss. This average man was surprised that the average community marveled at his achievement. To him, he just did the right thing.
Elsewhere in the world, another average man lived an average life. Then, one day this average man had an extraordinary idea. It was an idea that would improve people's lives. Some average people thought his idea was amazing. Some others believed his idea was dangerous. Many discussions and arguments were made over this extraordinary idea. In the end, the average people decided that this extraordinary idea was a good idea and made it so. To the average who thought of the extraordinary idea, it was just common sense.
At another place in the world, another average man lived an average life. Then, one day this average man witnessed an extraordinary event. This average man thought this extraordinary event was wrong and unjust. So, this average man raised his objections to the average community. While there were others who felt as he, the average people in charge of the community disagreed with him. Knowing that his cause was just, the average man did an extraordinary thing and stood against the community. Others followed him. Confrontations ensued. In the end, this average man lost his life. He died for what he believed in.
Many years later, a young man read about three average men. He read about the one who did the right thing, the one had an extraordinary idea, and the one who died for what he believed in. From that moment on, that young man would never ever be just an average man.
