Raissa Falgui's Biography
Member Info
As a child I loved to read fairy tales and myths and pore over art books. My writing now, mainly fiction, reflects these interests. My YA novel Woman in a Frame is an art novel, which may be downloaded from Amazon, Kobo, or Flipreads. I have also written a story based on a myth for Alternative Alamat.
I won Palanca awards for my stories in 2002 and 2006. I have won a number of other awards as well. Many of my stories are for children and I am a member of a Philippine group of writers for children Kuting (Kuwentista ng mga Tsikiting).

Interests & Hobbies
In many ways I am quite the homebody: I love to cook, decorate, and make crafts. I have even started herb and vegetable gardens. Conversely, I also love to travel. I guess you could say I always try to make the most of whatever place I'm in.
