Real acts of awareness
Force a simple mocking enemy
To change.
On his bloody knees.
Broken and oddly bent,
Life is a savage force rushing
To break out,
To set destiny free of logic.
My yearning soul is
A curiosity of displaced
Guarantees.
A blind heart is saying sorry
To the eyes.
If it is up to he or me or we or even she
To be my home,
My throne,
My start, my end;
An apology is a good place to begin.
