Born and raised in Cyprus, island of Aphrodite and bombs in strip joints, I moved to the UK in 2001 with the goal of studying and making film.
Now a graduate, I strive pennilessly for creativity at all times. As a voluntary film and music critic for LastBroadcast.co.uk, I'm currently writing and directing a theatre piece (combining live performance and video) for the Buxton Fringe Festival in July, in collaboration with friend and performance artist Jaacq Hugo. Besides that, I've been commissioned to write a feature film about teenagers and their skateboards...
I aim to focus on my writing now, and hope to oneday earn a living from the novels and short stories in my head.
Discovering hidden gems of the silver screen, literature that makes my heart stop, singer-songwriters on the brink of falling apart, ghosts, outcasts, misanthropy, the sea, faith, death, suburbia and barbed comebacks.
