books every woman should read
I got this from jezebel.com. Looking through the list, there are only a few authors that I've read: Maya Angelou and Zora Neale Hurston (whose work I enjoy), Anne Frank (read her Diary recently), Maxine Hong Kingston (she's HIGHLY recommended), Toni Morrison (my idol) and Carson McCullers. I'm currently reading Flannery O'Conner. I figure, while I'm unemployed, I might as well do something that I love: read.
I'm also going to add a similar list from Latina and then a list of my own. Here's the link to Latina:
Don't you just love lists? As the weather gets colder, I find myself making more lists. There's not really a need to do them in the summertime because the weather is so warm and warm weather can bring out the need for adventure in all of us. So, let the reading begin!
