Pia Z. Ehrhardt lives in New Orleans with her husband and teenage son. She's a substitute teacher at New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA), a court watcher, and a contributing editor to Narrative Magazine and StoryQuarterly. Her stories have been published in McSweeney's 14 and 16, Mississippi Review, and in Narrative Magazine. Famous Fathers & Other Stories (MacAdam/Cage) is her first book and she's writing a novel that will also be published by MacAdam/Cage. Her work's been anthologized in Stories from the Blue Moon Cafe, and Norton's 2006 New Sudden Fiction: Short-Shorts from America and Beyond, and read on NPR's Selected Shorts by actress, Hope Davis. She is the recipient of the 2005 Narrative Prize, a Bread Loaf Fellowship, and Pushcart Prize honorable mention.
