My addiction started very simply. My novel MRS. LIEUTENANT was a 2008 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award semi-finalist and we were each given a page on Amazon. One author had something I didn't -- a blog (in January of 2008 I didn't even know what a blog was).
Not to be outdone, I said to myself: I have to have a blog too. And that was the moment my obsession began.
I started taking free and paid teleseminars, reading free and paid report after free and paid report, and doing whatever I could to learn about this strange new world of Internet marketing.
My obsession led to my applying to be the LA Internet Business Examiner, and after a month of articles for that column I asked to switch to being a National Internet Business Examiner. So now I have a good excuse for my obsession.
In addition, I wanted to share what I've learned in a way that makes it easier for others to learn. There's no reason other people have to re-invent the wheel.
And this is why my company MillerMosaicLLC.com has a monthly program to help people promote their brand, book or business online -- www.WeTeachWebMarketing.com -- as well as a program to help professionals such as lawyers and accountants learn to use Twitter effectively for business purposes -- www.TeachMetoTweetNow.com
I've become so obsessed with learning and then sharing my learning that I get frustrated whenever I'm away from doing Internet marketing. There's so much to learn and to share!
You can find me on Twitter at @ZimblerMiller where you can ask me questions about book marketing online as well as other Internet marketing questions.
And, oh yes. I'm on a virtual book tour this month for my ebook WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE LAUNCH OF AN ONLINE INFORMATION PRODUCT.
