I absolutely loved her new novel Boneyard because it is as good and even a bit better than her first book The Tunnels. I thought that in the first book Kelly Jones is a cool and controlled FBI agent who thinks about the victim and their families and trying to catch their killer, not just about closing the case and getting the credit. Well that is still true in the second novel and now that it is one year later for her she is faced with a new case that is more gruesome than her case in the tunnels. I was intrigued from the beginning because I was trying to work out along with Kelly on who the killer was and I hardly but the book down because I wanted to know what happens next. I thought that Michelle did a great job of writing this book because it kept my interest from the beginning to the end. There were parts of the novels where you read from the killers point of view and that really intrigued me and made me think of who might the killer be.
Now former FBI agent Jake Riley is someone that I thought was a real contrast to Kelly and made the interaction between them so much more fun to read, especially since they are somewhat of a couple in this novel. Well I loved the book and I really want to know when the next one comes out because that ending has me really intrigued about what happens between Kelly Jones and Jake Riley who have this hot and heavy thing going one in this book that I really want to know more about. Go buy the books! You won't regret it I'm sure.
