Philip Shirley has written, co-authored or contributed to five published books. Most recently, published a collection of short fiction title Oh Don't You Cry for Me in 2008 with Jefferson Press, and Sweet Spot: 125 Years of Baseball and the Louisville Slugger (co-written with David Magee) in 2009 with Triumph Books, a Random House imprint. By day, I am the chairman and CEO of 75-year-old ad agency GodwinGroup. Born in Alabama and lived for a few years in the small town Monroeville that claims such favored children as Harper Lee and Mark Childress. Just completed a novel ms that is in search of a publishing home.
