It’s a so so day here in beautiful Corfu Greece. The weather is so so and so am I. I caught a bit of a cold. That's what happens when you spend an hour or so standing in the rain at 3am waiting for incompetent people to show up to do their jobs.

1). It looks as though two people hit the record 580 million dollar Superball jackpot yesterday. Good for them! Now watch all the people coming out of the woodwork claiming to be family needing a little help from their newly minted millionaire kin!

2). Iran is now claiming that uranium will be refined "with intensity". I'll give you three guesses where our next military action will take place.

3). Angus T. Jones has apologized for his rant against the show saying it was wrong to say what he said. He didn't realize prior to the rant that labeling what he produced and profited from "filth" and telling people not to watch the program was a bad idea?

4). The Baseball Hall of Fame has announced their candidates for induction into the Hall of Fame. On the list for the first time are Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa and Roger Clemens otherwise known as the poster boys of what is affectionately known as "The Steroid Era". Should they get in?

5).  Detroit Red Wing prospect Riley Sheahan has been charged with being "super drunk" in Michigan. That means he was driving while being three times over the legal limit. He was also wearing a "Tinky Winky" costume at the time of his arrest. I don't know about you but the only way you would ever see me in a "Tinky Winky" costume is if I were "super drunk".....the Michigan authorities should make him dress up as Tinky Winky each and every day of his mandatory 180 day jail sentence (if convicted) and then deport his sorry ass.

6). I couldn't wait for November to get here and now I can't wait for it to end....

7). I had so much fun last night interviewing authors Bob Mustin and Ira Wagler for my show next week. Two great writers that also happen to be two great guys as well!

8). There was a time in the not so recent past when I wanted to be a Chess Grandmaster. I had to stop playing because I was so busy with work but have recently began to play again....you know the old saying "if you don't use it you will lose it"? Very true in my case.
