What I'm Reading
Currently reading Cormac Mccarthy 'Blood Meridian' what extraordinary descriptions. If I might be so bold 'American Gothic' at its best. Mccarthy's language is extraordinary seeming both from an earlier time and absolutely contemporary and very disturbing. Wonderful!
Favorite Authors
Balzac, Sartre, Camus, Turgenev, Bukowski, Chandler, Joyce, Elmore Leonard, Ian McEwan, John Updike, James Ellroy, Tom Waits, Dylan Thomas, Robert Towne - no this is impossible, too many, too many!
I keep thinking of 'Gulliver's Travels' which I love. (Peter Hewitt, Chief Executive, Arts Council England on 'Sedan - an entertainment - the part one')”
—Reverse cover jacket 'Sedan - the part two'
